A Touch of Lace |
If you are scared of ants, then the old movie The Naked Jungle is NOT for you. However if nasty ol' army ants don't bother you at all, I suggest you watch it. It's a classic, and it's also where I got my outfit inspiration for today. I realize I don't have Eleanor Parker's tiny waist or her cute hat, and I didn't even bother to try to match that stoic expression, but I have to work with what I've got! This shirt with the touch of lace at the sleeves is the only lace I have in my closet (well actually I have the same shirt in emerald green, but that's besides the point.) Consequently it's what I chose for today's Everybody, Everywear challenge.
I had that top too! I like your color much better, I ditched my pink one a while back. Lovely post!~

Thank you! How funny, I had it in pink and ditched it also!! I also cut the bows off the sleeves of this one, it was a little too busy for me.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Very feminine and put-together.

I haven't quite figured out how to mix more neutral colors like this, yet. I think I'm gonna have a go at it tomorrow. You look lovely and the shirt has the perfect amount of lace!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much ladies!
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet Sophie! It just happened to be a day where my hair half-way behaved! It hasn't been cut in ages and is getting a little out of control!
Sarah I need to learn how to wear more colors now! One of these days I want to try some colorblocking.
The inspiration is great and you pulled off the look perfectly! You look gorgeous!
