I may have had food poisoning on Friday (worst day I've had in a LONG time), but by Saturday evening I felt good enough to go on my date with Ryan! Yay! We took a little detour to our old college and got some pictures of my outfit in a field behind the buildings. The light was beautiful as the sunset was approaching and there were lovely clouds in the sky. You'll see the outfit pictures next week for this month's Everybody Everywear! (Colored Pants/Jeans)
I will put this one picture from the "shoot" up though. It shows my pretty new feather earrings from Glass Cocoon Jewelry. I won them from the sweet owner of the shop through a facebook giveaway!

We went to see "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and it was really good! (Images from Google)
I took some pictures in the car while we were waiting at a red light.
I think the people in the car next to us probably thought it was weird, but I don't care!
For dinner after the movie we went to a wonderful Mexican Restaurant in our town, Palenque Grill. Yes, that's a pile of tortilla chips in front of Ryan! They were delicious with bean dip, guacamole and salsa or lime and salt. Amazingly enough my stomach didn't bother me after eating all that either!!
We enjoyed the live music and the festive ambiance it created.
Ryan had the Arrachera plate (fajita steak with rice, guacamole and beans), and I ordered Enchiladas Suizas de Pollo (green enchiladas with sour cream and chicken). Everything was extremely delicious and after eating a few bites of my enchiladas I had plenty to bring home for Ryan to eat for lunch today.
It was a really lovely date night. Ryan and I got to reminisce about our college days, (we met at a Christian luncheon on campus and he proposed to me in a gazebo in the middle of a garden there) and it felt great for just the two of us to spend time together. We did talk a lot about Sean though! That little guy is never far from our thoughts even when we're apart.
I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday and got to spend time with loved ones! Also thank you so much for your sweet comments, they mean a lot to me!
